Tour Itinerary
DAY 1: Nairobi – Masai Mara
Early in the morning, you’ll be picked up from your hotel to our office (we will advise pickup time once we know your pick up location) for payments and briefing. Thereafter the safari starts at around 8:30 am to Masai Mara with a brief stopover at the Great Rift Valley viewpoint for a chance to view and take pictures of the Great Rift Valley. Thereafter, proceed to Masai Mara via Narok Town. You’ll arrive at Masai Mara at around 1:30 pm for lunch. Have Lunch, refresh and proceed to evening game drive inside the famous Masai Mara National Reserve until 6:30 pm when the park closes. You’ll have dinner and sleep at Lenchada Camp/Sankale Camp
Day 2: Masai Mara Full Day
This is a busy day! After early breakfast, you’ll spend a full day exploring this unique park complete with picnic lunch. You’ll have the chance to visit the Mara River located at the border of Masai Mara and the famous Serengeti Park where there is a large concentration of wildlife due to proximity to water. We’ll take our lunch near or around the river under a tree inside the park. On this day you will be able to spot Lions, Giraffes, Elephants, Cheetahs, Impalas, Zebras, Hyenas, if lucky the elusive leopards among many other wildlife in their natural element. Dinner and your overnight stay will be at Lenchada Camp/Sankale Camp
DAY 3: Masai Mara/Nakuru
After breakfast, optional tour of a Masai village visit for cultural experience usually costs around 10$ to 20$ per person paid directly at the village. Otherwise depart to Nakuru town. Arrive at the hotel and check in for lunch. Have a late afternoon game drive inside Lake Nakuru National Park where you will see populations of flamingos among many other birds [about 350 species recorded]. Lake Nakuru National Park is also home to the black and the white rhinoceros and has also been established for the protection of endangered species such as the Rhino. It is also home to Colobus monkeys, leopards, giraffes, and a variety of Plains antelope. Dinner and overnight at your hotel. Lake Nakuru Hillcourt Resort/Buraha Resort
Day 4: Nakuru/Ol Pejeta
After early breakfast proceed to Ol Pejeta Conservancy. Ol Pejeta Conservancy, a private conservancy known for its commitment to wildlife conservation. Arrive in time for lunch, get to check in at the lodge. Rejuvenate yourself and relax by utilizing the lodge or camp facilities. Afternoon game drive is scheduled for you to explore the conservancy. Get the chance to spot the big five, visit the chimpanzee sanctuary, get to see rhinos ‘Black and White rhino’, explore the diverse landscape and also have various activities at the conservancy such as a night game drive. Dinner and overnight at Comfort Gardens Nanyuki
Day 5: Ol Pejeta/Naivasha Hell’s Gate
After breakfast, check out and head out to Lake Naivasha. You will later check in and have lunch at Chambai Resort/Apex Resort. Later Evening, do a boat ride safari on Lake Naivasha and walking safari on crescent island. Dinner and Overnight at your hotel.
Day 6: Naivasha/Amboseli
After breakfast, proceed to Hell’s gate National park. Sometimes Dry, dusty and dramatic but infinitely peaceful & magical, Hell’s gate park is that rare thing: an adventurous Kenyan park with plenty of animals that’s safe to explore by bicycle or on foot. Carnivores are very rare in this park, so you can cycle to your heart’s content past grazing zebras, giraffes, impalas and buffaloes, spot rock hyraxes as they clamber up inclines and chase dust clouds as they swirl in the wind. And if the pedaling isn’t enough exercise, hike the gorge or climb Fischer’s Tower. Later visit the Geothermal Power Plant in Ol Karia and the Hot Springs. Later after lunch depart to Amboseli via Nairobi arriving late evening. Dinner and night stay at Manjaro Tented Camp/Nyati Camp
Day 7: Amboseli extended
Full Day inside the Amboseli Park. Though a small reserve, Amboseli park has a lot of wildlife. You will encounter large and several families of elephants, the elephants are so populous here that the park has earned a nickname, ‘The Land of the Giants’. Apart from the giant elephants, the other giant dominating the landscape is Africa’s tallest peak, Mt. Kilimanjaro which stands like a giant, iconic monument at the park’s southern boundary. A busy wildlife refuge, you will find hyena, fox, jackal, monkey and all kinds of birdlife in the park’s bushes. Dinner and night stay at Manjaro Tented Camp/Nyati Camp
Day 8: Amboseli – Nairobi
After breakfast you depart to Nairobi or Namanga Border
